Hospital Sungai Buloh - Volunteer Service

Hospital Sg. Buloh Medical Social Worker Department had invited the President and Secretary of ILTC and appointed them into their committee.
In order to give motivation and counselling to the patient who are in needed our services, especially to Spinal Cord Injury (SCI) and Orthopeadic cases.

At the sametime during the meeting the organizing committee have given brief explanation on the topic of Aids/HIV and also guide us around the hospital and Lepersy wad.

ILTC Members were invited for a meeting with US-based Bio-Cellular Research Organization regarding Stem Cell at Unit Rehabilitation Centre, Hospital Kuala Lumpur (HKL) on 26th March 2008 - 2.30 PM.
Stem cell transplantation researcher BCRO will site its main manufacturing plant in Pahang from its present location in Slovakia.
Medical researcher anticipate stem cells to treat cancer, type 1 diabetes, spinal cord injures and muscle damage, among other diseases.
With the BCRO's facility in Malaysia, the cost of stem cell treatments is ALMOST to become RM 60000.00.
At presently, will Malaysian People with Disabilities can afford to have this treatment???
