Majlis Perbandaran Selayang (MPS) had taken the initial steps to implement various disabled-friendly facilities in Rawang Town.

Former MPS Councillor & Secretary of ILTC Malaysia has lauded the move and it was long overdue and was certainly a forward thinking move and as all its public facilities should at least be made more accessible and user-friendly to all individuals especially the disabled.

In Rawang, there were already some facilities for the disabled community such as parking bays, but this was usually misused by the able-bodied.

The upgrade works should carry out disabled-friendly washrooms and ramps at Rawang Town to be one of the disabled-friendly town in Selangor

Meanwhile, she also hoped that owners of all old buildings also make their premises to be disabled-friendly as well.

We ILTC Malaysia will be to work closely with the MPS to monitor the public facilities include with tactiles, ramps and other barrier-free facilities.

Majlis Hari Raya Aidilfitri Bersama YAB Menteri Besar Selangor (9-7-2017)

Yesterday, I had attended the Majlis Hari Raya Aidilfitri Bersama YAB Menteri Besar Selangor at Kg. Kenanga, Rawang, Selangor. I had exclusive opportunity to meet personally Y.A.B. Dato' Seri Mohamed Azmin Bin Ali. I had a good conversation with him and hand over the invitation documents details of the upcoming event on 25th November 2017 at Malawati Stadium, Shah Alam.

Pada 21 Jun 2017 YB Dr Daroyah Alwi Exco Kebajikan Negeri Selangor menyampaikan sumbangan Kerajaan Negeri Selangor kepada badan bukan kerajaan (NGO) di tempat Bilik Mesyuarat Melor, Tingkat 15, Bangunan SSAAS, Shah Alam, Selangor. On 25^th May 2017 our ILTC Malaysia peer counseling group went to Pusat Perubatan Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (HUKM Cheras Hospital) do to counseling and deal with the emotional and behavioral concerns of the newly patient with assist individual’s spinal cord injury.
