Shame on Air Asia
Recently on 20 Feb 2016 (Saturday) 5 disabled person (wheelchair users passengers) and I were traveled with AirAsia for a vacation in Chennai, South India with bad incident.
I personally experienced this recently and I am not pleased at all. Even though earlier I am part of a group that is working with Technical Committee for the Disabled Ministry of Transportation.
On the day, we were allowed to board at last. We had insisted to request on being seated on the first row seats have extra space in front.
After kicking up a fuss, the AirAsia’s cabin crew reluctantly agreed our request and carried us to the back next seat followed by and it is directly discriminating against disabled person from travelling on AirAsia flights.
Furthermore the local food such as nasi lemak meal provided by AirAsia was contaminated. They must be taken care to not to contaminate the food. Due to that, we all stomach gets really upset through inconvenience to our bowel.
We were faced many difficulties and hassle at AirAsia meanwhile counter check-in baggage for our flight returning from Chennai on 27 Feb 2016. Even in the flight, the Captain was extremely rude and arrogant.
I do not take lightly to being subjected to such practices. The airlines is still subjecting disabled passengers to discriminatory policies. We were upset with Air Asia on the issue of the handling disabled persons.
Please Tan Sri Tony Fernandez dont make money profits from disabled. It is sin.
We have strongly feel that, this is issues related to disabled passengers on discriminating & treated without dignity on AirAsia flights.
Therefore, we would like to lodge a complaint to Tan Sri Tony Fernandez’s and the Ministry of Transport demand for the plightness will be made aware of how AirAsia treated its disabled passengers.
