Their tasked with an advocacy paper project focusing on the rights and well-being of the disabled persons community in Malaysia,

 

We had an opportunity to shared various aspects related to disability rights, inclusions, and challenges faced within the scope of governmental provisions and also the organisation in itself. We believe that our expertise will significantly contribute to the depth and quality of our research, to better understand the issues at hand.

Independent Living and Training Centre Malaysia is a charitable organization, which was formed BY the disabled and FOR the disabled to provide free services for their members who are living throughout the county for more than Twenty (20) years. These services are carried out with the main objective to teach, guide and assist disabled members to lead an independent live and face daily challenges with self-confidence and esteem.

On behalf of all members, I express our sincere thanks and appreciation for your kind contribution of groceries for the Deepavali celebration 2023 towards 30 disabled peson at the Independent Living & Training Centre Malaysia.

LAWATAN KE INDEPENDENT LIVING AND TRAINING CENTRE MALAYSIA (ILTC MALAYSIA)

Jabatan Perubatan Pemulihan, Pusat Perubatan Universiti Malaya mempunyai sebuah Independent Living Unit (ILU) untuk melatih pesakit-pesakit JPP agar kembali berdikari di dalam kehidupan mereka. Pasukan ILU bercadang untuk menambahbaik program yang sedia ada bagi memberi impak yang lebih baik kepada pesakit JPP.

Sehubungan dengan itu, JPP mengadakan lawatan ke Independent Living & Training Centre Malaysia (ILTC) di Rawang, Selangor. Lawatan ini adalah bagi bertujuan untuk mengetahui lebih lanjut mengenai cara beroperasi ILTC Malaysia dan Pusat Latihan Berdikari (ILC) merupakan salah satu perkhidmatan asas yang ditawarkan oleh kumpulan OKU untuk memperkasakan OKU. Selain memberi tumpuan kepada aspek penentuan matlamat kendiri, kemahiran Independent Living diberikan agar OKU lebih bersedia dan peka terhadap keperluan mereka untuk memulakan kehidupan secara berdikari.

Jabatan Pembangunan Orang Kurang Upaya [JPOKU] dengan kerjasama Independent Living Centre Sindrom Down Negeri Johor telah menganjurkan Bengkel Penambahbaikan Garis Panduan ILC bersama Pertubuhan Bukan Kerajaan (NGO-ILC) seperti berikut: Tarikh: 28, 29, 30 JULAI 2023 (JUMAAT, SABTU, AHAD) bertempat Hotel Granada Johor Bahru, No. 55, Jln Indah 15/2, Taman Bukit Indah, Johor Bahru.
