International Women's Day 2014 - Inspiring Change
In conjunction with this year’s International Women’s Day celebration themed Inspiring Change, Gleneagles Kuala Lumpur hosted an interesting forum with women with disabilities yesterday.
Graced by Yang Duli Yang Teramat Mulia Raja Puan Besar Perak Darul Ridzuan, Tuanku Zara Salim accompanied by Yang Amat Mulia Raja Dato' Seri Azureen binti Sultan Azlan Shah these women who are successful in their respective fields aim to inspire women with and without disabilities, as well as students of private higher learning institutions.
Gleneagles Kuala Lumpur invited 20 women with disabilities from ILTC Malaysia were invited to the International Women’s Day which was held on 12th March 2014, Mandarin Oriental Hotel Kuala Lumpur.
Besides the forum, guests were also entertained with a cake cutting ceremony and a performance by the Carefree group.

The KL & Selangor Chinese Assembly Hall Association invited ILTC Malaysia to the Chinese New Year (CNY) Celebration
10 ILTC Malaysia were invited by The KL & Selangor Chinese Assembly Hall Association to the Chinese New Year (CNY) Celebration at the Chinese Assembly Hall in Kuala Lumpur which was held successfully on 22nd February 2014.
They entertained us with musical, cultural and acrobatic performances on the staged.
They offered us delicious food of 8 course meals lunch. At the end of the program, we all received ang-pow packets with goodie-bags.
On behalf of our organization, we are happy and would like to take this opportunity to express our heartfelt thanks the management of The KL & Selangor Chinese Assembly Hall Association.

full feel one of the sessions of their training course title introduction
to the Independent Living. (Kursus Pengenalan
Kehidupan Berdikari Bagi OKU). It was held on 19 February (Wednesday) - Time: 3.00 to 4.30 PM
President gave a short introductory briefing on the fundamentals of the organization. He also shares the concept of the independent living skill lesson to give positive impact especially for the 30 trainees in process to understand about Independent Living Centre.
Universiti Putra Malaya (UPM) Has Conducted a Research at ILTC Malaysia

Science Students, Universiti Putra Malaya (UPM) has successfully conducted a research at 40 disabled
participants from ILTC Malaysia for their work related to the
reliability of the disabled in Malaysia which was held on 14-02-2014.

Plays an active role by giving motivational talks to Special student at the UUM, Sintok, Kedah
President Mr. Francis Siva was invited to give
talks on self confidence and motivation to the Special Program Student Career at
the Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM).
It was organized by Pusat Pembangunan Kerjaya (CDC) Jabatan Hal Ehwal Pelajar and Alumni Universiti Utara Malaysia on 04 March 2014 (Dewan Pusat Kegiatan Pelajar 2 (PKP 2), UUM.
This program is held according to raise Orang Kurang Upaya (OKU) create awareness among the special students in the society.
They have rights in society and system not consider
them as less capable and less opportunities and also increase the awareness of
students about the special facilities for them to expose their services and the
facilities provided by the government and employers for them.
