A Remarkable visit to ILTC Malaysia by JSW Law School in Bhutan

Recently on 14-04-2023 – a remarkable visit to ILTC Malaysia by JSW Law School in Bhutan's only law school, our core objective is to provide legal education, facilitate research in law and related fields, promote cultural enrichment, and uphold traditional values.
The team comprise the following members from the law school:
1. Dema Lham (Ms.), Associate Dean, Academic Affairs and Assistant Professor, Faculty of Law.
2. Sonam Tshering (Mr.), Assistant Dean, Research Center and Assistant Professor, Faculty of Law
3. Kuenzang Dolma (Ms.), Assistant Dean, Clinical Courses and Lecturer, Faculty of Law
4. KarmaChoden (Ms.), Lecturer
5. Ugyen Dorji (Mr.), Acting Registrar
As part of their curriculum, they have initiated a module development and study on access to justice for persons with disabilities (PWDs) since 2019.
We have shared the following are the areas of interest……….
1. Understand the Policies and laws protecting Persons with Disabilities in Malaysia
2. Role of your institute in protection and promotion of rights of PwDs.
3. Access to justice for PWDs in Malaysia.
4. Learn about soft skills and infrastructure for PWDs.
5. The mechanism to settle disputes among the PWDs.
